In almost three decades, Leon Leontaridis has toured and performed with groups such as The Canadian Tenors, Destino, a male Pop-Opera group, Calgary Opera, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Cowtown Opera, Vivace, Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, GhostBoy, piano and violin sensations Roy Tan and Rosemary Siemens, and as the solo artist The Gentleman Leon. Some of his touring highlights are Carnegie Hall, NYC, the Beijing Olympics, Miss America Pageant, Las Vegas, The Children’s Miracle network, Disney World, St.Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey in London, England. He has performed in cross-Canada tours with The Rankin Family and Canadian Country music superstar George Canyon. Leon holds a Music Performance Diploma from MRU and a BMUS in Performance from UVIC.
Leon has worked as a music director and Roster singer for local indie opera company Cowtown Opera, as well as various projects like classical cross-over group Vivace, Vancouver, BC, and Latin boy band Bailamos, Vancouver, BC. He has also worked as a vocal coach/technique instructor for Storybook Theatre, Calgary, for their Student Summer Intensive Program for the past 5 years. Leon is married to Susan Leontaridis, and has 4 daughters that keep him busy and entertained, all the time.
